Caesars Rewards 5,000 Tier Credits = Free Night?
One of the perks of Caesars Rewards is that you can earn 1 free night for every 5,000 Tier Credits.
I've earned over 25,000 Tier Credits so I should have 5 free nights. Anyone know how to book these? It doesn't show up in my online account, do I need to call in?

Something does not make sense here.
If you indeed have 25K TC for this year, you should have been a Diamond+. Your hotel stay should have been comped.
Are you trying to book for someone else?

Are comps for Diamond+ members guaranteed? I've been diamond for many years and while I get comped most places in Vegas, I don't usually get, for example, weekend comps in AC (especially in the summer). But I do get those free nights which I can use towards those.

There's lots of stipulations in using them. I recall them being a PITA to use. It's just easier to call them than trying to apply them and using it online. If I recall correctly, it can't be combined with COMP nights and also has a lot of blackout dates, which the CSR should be able to check. Using 2-3 of them consecutively was tough also.

COMPS and offers are not solely based on tier status and TCs, if anything it has very minimal effect. COMPS/offers are mainly based off of play and ADT. A Gold/Plat holder could be getting suites while a Diamond/Diamond+ may get minimal offers due to lower play/ADT. Also, TCs can be earned by spend so TCs are not a good indicator of where a player stands.

COMPS/offers are mainly based off play/ADT. The higher the play/ADT the more offers you get and vice versa. AC room comps are pretty tough in the summer due to high demand, and limited supply. Many of the rooms can go for double or triple the price sometimes so they limit the supply of comped rooms and rather sell it. If you have a LV host and in a good relationship, even though they can't book it directly, they can always have a host from AC book for you.

I am a Diamond+. I typically can get free rooms at a lot of the properties, but not always.
Sounds like they aren't such a great benefit. I do have a weekend coming up where I don't have any comp room offers; maybe I'll give them a call.

No. Absolutely not. Comps are always variable based on gaming history, ADT, property occupancy, season, day of week, phase of moon...
And the one free night per 5,000 TCs only applies to LAS and maybe ACY too. It is not for all properties.

This. Status is not a very important factor in generating comps and promotional offers. People who are familiar with airline and hotel programs need to completely change how they think when it comes to Caesars Rewards. Status counts for almost nothing when it comes to comps, room rates, promo offers.
Back before I was TR Diamond, I would routinely have better comp availability in LAS than a friend who was Diamond.

If you're getting comped rooms already, then the 5K TC free nights are almost worthless to you. It's a nice incentive, but really meant for the lower to mid tier players who don't gamble/wager big(low ADT), but rack up enough TCs to hit Diamond or higher. Assuming you're not a local, and you're TCs are all from gaming (not spend or TC bonuses), do you have a host? If not, you can always try to get in contact with one if you need more nights than your COMP calendar or offers dictate. Even if you play doesn't warrant a host, if your play is decent and you have some history, someone may help you out.
If you want, if you can describe your play (hours, wagers, game) , and if you know your ADT, I can let you know if it's even feasible to contact a host.

Booked via telephone a couple weeks ago. I used mine last night/today for a free Saturday night at Caesars (!!!), and arrived around 11pm. When I was in the air on the flight from the east coast, I got mail saying I'd been upgraded to Nobu, which was awesome since I've never stayed here and always wanted to (leaving only Cromwell as a Caesars property where I haven't yet stayed).
Got a nice room (if small; shower-only, too), with a view of Flamingo. Enjoyed having the check-in directly at the base of the tower. I'd probably stay here again, although I slightly prefer the Laurel Collection Octavius/Augustus towers at Caesars. The Nobu location will be better once the valet area is back to direct connection to casino vs. the current "tunnel" during construction.
Bedding, toiletries, etc. were an upgrade, and the decor is nice. Certainly can't complain for $0 stay on a Saturday.
"One free night" seems like a very weird promotion to offer, though -- works for me because I already had a 2-night Cosmo reservation for Sunday-Tuesday, and used it for the expensive Saturday night, don't mind changing hotels, but for encouraging gaming activity on-property, 1 free night or 2-3 nights at a substantial discount would work better.

I'm shocked you were able to use it... and more shocked that they would put you up at Nobu! Did you have to have them try a number of dates to find this one? Are you a Seven Stars?

I am a Diamond (with almost no play; it's via Founders Card). I do come a LOT, and spend pretty well in restaurants during conferences. I don't know how it happened.
I tried only one day, and it worked fine. It was 11 December right at the end of national finals rodeo so maybe they just had extra rooms.

Does someone know if these have to be consumed in the calendar year in which they are earned or within some limited amount of time afterwards?
I'm unable to get a comp room for a few nights of an upcoming trip when signed in to Caesars Reward normally but I have plenty of blocks of 5000 TCs earned from play in calendar year 2021 if I can use a few of those instead.
I seem to remember though that these have to be used fairly quickly.

Yes, they have to be used during the calendar year. If you didn't use the ones from last year, then they're gone. Once you earned 5K TCs (excluding bonus TCs), a code something like CR50001NT-Earned after 5K TCs, CR10KT1NT-Earned after 10K TCs, CR15KT1NT- Earned after 15K TCs, etc; should populate in your offers section in your account.
If you had a bunch last year, I'd assume you have decent play and may have a host? Can go the host route to open up the room availability for you.

Thanks. I thought I remembered reading or hearing that they have to be used during the same calendar year earned.
No host for me - while I had decent play last year it was spread across different properties (non-Vegas) and a good chunk of it was betting horse racing. Horse racing betting has never particularly excited casinos despite the fact that they are getting a share of takeouts that can be as high as 26% (many racing jurisdictions are at 25-26% on trifectas and superfectas)
The rate I'm getting in LAS based on play isn't terrible. Obviously not as good as comped for 5 nights, but not horrible.

The best thing you can do is get a host. It sounds simple BUT its not. Many of these host don't return calls. Find the host on duty and introduce yourself. That host may still not return your call but the host on duty does change every shift. The host will look for the property that can forefill your 5 night comp or nearly comp nights
